Morning = preparation
This is time to review plans, reports and other necessary documents so you are ready and raring to go. You have time to check addresses and figure out where you need to go. A focused start to the day and then it's off to your first inspection.
Day time = undertaking inspections
You'll arrive on site ready to meet your clients, if they choose to attend. You conduct your eagle-eyed inspection, photographing defects as you go. You speak to clients about your findings and then address any issues they are concerned about. Once all the client's questions are answered and you're then ready to build your draft report. This is a short process with our modern software. Once you click complete, they automatically upload, so they are ready for you at the end of the day. Then it's off to your next building inspection.
You don't have to worry about the work getting boring or repetitive. Every single house is different. Every builder has their own strengths and weaknesses. You will learn and grow each and every day, as you meet new issues head on and focus on delivering the gold standard in home building inspections. Afternoon = home time
You return to the comfort of your home office, ready to check and edit your reports. Just like you diligently inspect your clients' homes; you will check your reports to make sure they are complete and that they are accurate. Once you are satisfied that everything is in order, you send your reports to clients.
At the end of the week you receive a purchase order with all your jobs for the week. You simply send us an invoice and get paid promptly.
